Episode Notes

In order to protect something, you must first understand what it is you're protecting. Over time, technology matures and society follows. Sometimes it is the other way around. Many times, investments in both typically follow the money in terms of where the best return will be found. When looking at information technology and cybersecurity, this seems to land in the commercial space, leaving the critical infrastructure to lag a bit in terms of resiliency. That's to say that we're even on the same page when it comes to defining what the critical infrastructure is. Perhaps that is a good place to start. And, that's what we discuss this and more during our conversation that spans nations, tech stack, and societal lines.

Do we know what we are protecting and do we have the right folks looking after it all for us?
