Nobody likes scalpers of any kind. The artist doesn't make extra money, the fan pays way more than what is fair, and the music industry just sits there and watches.
Luckily, things are changing for the best. Blockchain and NFTs are now empowering artists to get creative with their digital offering, and the fan can pay the right amount for concerts and find a new way to collect music memorabilia.
Sure, if you want to show off the drum stick you snatched at the concert on that unforgettable night, you have got to earn it on the battlefield, but at least you know you paid the artist for the show, and not some criminal. On the other hand, you can be a collector of something unique from the comfort of your home. Maybe watching that concert with your VR goggles and buying your NFTs souvenir during the same virtual experience — soon? Maybe?
